Good news for Graham Linehan after sharing cancer story
The Father Ted creator took to Twitter to open up about his cancer story yesterday.
Linehan today announced that he'd been to his oncologist, had been told that he would not have to have chemotherapy and was cancer free.
"Well, holy shit," he tweeted. "I just saw my oncologist. Everything’s clear. No chemo! Can’t believe it! NO CHEMO! Have been organising my life around the idea that the next three months were just *gone*!"

Thanks to everyone who sent kind words. I’m annoyed now that I worried you all unnecessarily. AND I cancelled my Australian events. Dohhhhh. Still though. CANCER FREE I BE!

The comedy writer had previously expressed his concern over his upcoming projects, namely the Father Ted musical entitled ‘Pope Ted,’ which Linehan announced earlier in the month. “‘Pope Ted’ is coming along nicely. It’s really making us laugh. I’m not sure whether I’ll have to stop working on it.”
Whether the project does get delayed or not, we wish Graham all the best for the future!
