Electric Picnic 2026: Comedy line-up revealed featuring Mario Rosenstock, Deirdre O'Kane, Shane Todd and many more
Reggie Watts, Vittorio Angelone, Mike Rice and Rachel Galvo are also among the names that have been announced.
Electric Picnic's comedy arena is back for another year - the line-up was revealed today, along with the news that the arena will open on Friday night, as well as the weekend, for the first time.
Among the acts are Deirdre O'Kane, Mario Rosenstock, Shane Todd, Reggie Watts, Vittorio Angelone, Mike Rice and Rachel Galvo.
Headlining Friday night is Deirdre O'Kane, known for her sharp observational humor and anecdotes, the Louth act has a spate of well-known performances as a comedian and an actress to her name. As a veteran of the comedy live circuit since the 1990s, she regularly tours Ireland and the UK, seen with her most recent tour O'Kaning in 2025 which had multiple dates added due to demand. She co-founded RTÉ Does Comic Relief, an Irish telethon event that took place in 2020 and raised €5 million.
Also joining the line-up is one of Ireland's most celebrated comedians, Mario Rosenstock. He is best known for the popular 'Gift Grub' segments featured on The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM since 1999, which is a series of comic sketches and impersonations. In 2025, he became the first Irish comedian to sell out the 3Arena.
Belfast's Shane Todd features in the line-up, who rose to fame by posting YouTube sketches as part of the Harlem Gun Club. The comedian and radio presenter holds a 24-night solo record at the Belfast Grand Opera House. He also hosts a weekly podcast called 'Tea With Me', with a new episode every Wednesday.
The Comedy Arena at EP is on Friday 28th August 18:00 to 22:00, Saturday 29th August 14:00 to 21:30 and Sunday 30th August 14:00 to 21:30.
