Electric Picnic adds Hold My Drink with Charleen and Ellie to podcast stage lineup

Known for discussing everything from tumultuous love lives, relatable insecurities and general comedic dilemmas, Hold My Drink with Charleen and Ellie joins the lineup for Electric Picnic 2022.

Returning to the festival at the brand new ‘Ah, Hear NOW!’ Stage, Charleen and Ellie join an impressive lineup of leading Irish podcasters. Other acts include Blindboy Boatclub, The David McWilliams Podcast, I’m Grand Mam, Around the World in 80 Gays with Brian Kennedy and Katherine Lynch and Stall It with Darren and Joe.

Formerly known as the ‘Ah, Hear’ stage, the festival comes back around with a rebrand thanks to a partnership with NOW. In a statement about the partnership, founder of the Podcast stage Naoise Nunn says, “It’s very exciting to get a brand like NOW on board with the stage. The stage was created as an arena for quality discussion, debate and a diverse festival offering. Establishing a partnership with NOW seemed like a natural step and a way to invigorate the stage with even more adventure, fun and promise of quality content. Together, as Ah, Hear NOW! We will bring audiences more unique and unforgettable experiences than ever before.”

The stage can be found in the MindField Arena, alongside other Electric Picnic offerings like the Leviathan Tent and Manifesto Stage. The full MindField lineup offers Picnickers some more options for entertainment, promising some surely rich discussions and more than a few laughs from up-and-coming talented Irish talkers.

There will be more than enough food and drink available to keep the chatter swirling all night long. Expect the unexpected, but also some funny debates, soul-stirring speeches, innovative ideas and endless laughter. Plus, more acts are yet to be announced!
