Chapters announce Pat Ingoldsby book launch
The Dublin writer and poet passed away in March of this year.
Chapters Bookstore have announced they will host a book launch for Out of the blue…Pink, a collection of poems from late writer Pat Ingoldsby.
The launch will be hosted at the Parnell Street venue in Dublin on October 30 at 7pm. The event is a part of "The Write Stuff", an evening of poetry reading and storytelling which takes place at Chapters on the last Thursday of every month.
Ingoldsby was known for his 'street' poems, as much of his work was famously created while observing the bustling streets of Dublin.
Out of the Blue...Pink will feature 300 poems, as well as photos taken by the poet. The collection was edited by Vivienne Baillie, the keeper of Ingoldsby's poems.
The evening will feature appearances from creatives such as Brush Sheils, Stephen Averil, Tom Burke, Suzanne Rhatigan, Steve Denehan, Gareth Cummins, Jan Brierton, Steve O'Toole and more. Ingoldsby's family will also be in attendance.
The event is free, but has limited spaces. Tickets can be reserved here.
