Republic of Loose lead new additions to Music Show line-up
Republic of Loose are among the new additions to the Live Stage at The Music Show, which takes place in the RDS, Dublin from October 4-5.
Republic of Loose, Cathy Davey, Fionn Regan and Declan O'Rourke are among the latest names to be added to the line-up for The Music Show, the all-day music extravaganza that takes place all day, in the Main Hall, RDS, Dublin on Saturday October 4 and Sunday October 5.
The line-up now amounts to a creme de la creme of recent Irish music, with current Hot Press cover stars The Blizzards, The Coronas, Ham Sandwich and Damien Dempsey already lined up to star at the event.
The live stage will also play host to a number of virtuoso instrumental performances, with the brilliant Fairport Convention axe-man Jerry Donohue lined up to appear on Sunday. Meanwhile, Rage drummer Mike Terrana – a brilliant all-action sticksman, who is famous for his dynamic and technically superb solo performances – will be appearing, courtesy of Meinl Cymbals. Both performances will offer musicians and fans alike a unique opportunity to see two instrumental wizards in action close-up.
Also added to the line-up for the event is turntablist supreme Tu-Ki, who will give a display of DJ gymnastics on Sunday afternoon, and offer advice and information to aspiring club DJs.
Further additions to the list of speakers and participants will be announced shortly.
The Music Show presented by Hot Press in association with RTÉ 2FM runs from October 4-5th in The RDS, Dublin. Saturday 4th October 10 am - 6.30 pm, Sunday 5th October 11 am - 6 pm.
Daily Tickets in advance are €5 for children, €10 for adults and €25 for Families (2 adults + up to 4 children) and are available on Ticketmaster now. Weekend tickets are also available
