Gogol Bordello forced to postpone Irish dates
The two November dates now take place in March
Disappointing news if you were looking forward to seeing everyone's favourite gypsy-punks over the next few days - Gogol Bordello's two upcoming dates have been postponed until March.
It's a knock-on effect from strikes in mainland Europe, which has forced the band to change their European tour dates. They have apologised for an inconvenience, saying that it was unfortunately beyond their control.
Luckily, the shows will go on in March. The new dates are:
Tuesday, March 15 - Olympia Theatre, Dublin
Wednesday, March 16 - Mandela Hall, Belfast
Tickets for the original shows will be valid for the new dates. Tickets for these new dates go on sale immediately from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and online at www.ticketmaster.ie. Olympia Theatre tickets are priced €32.50 inclusive of booking fee.
Here's some 'Start Wearing Purple' to cheer you up and kickstart the weekend.
