Adele and Sheeran triumph at Ivor Novellos

The prestigious gongs have just been handed out at this year's Ivor Novello Awards, held in London's Grosvenor House Hotel this afternoon. Needless to say, given the few years she's been having, Adele has once again won big.
Not only did the ubiquitous 'Rolling In The Deep' pick up the PRS for Music Most Performed Work Award, but the young British star also won the title of Songwriter Of The Year.
Ed Sheeran, a man with proud Irish roots, scooped the coveted Best Song award for 'The A-Team'.
In a year dominated by the ladies, PJ Harvey pipped Adele and Kate Bush to the Best Album prize for her Let England Shake and Lana Del Rey walked away with Best Contemporary Song for 'Video Games'.
Elsewhere, Mark Knopfler was given a Lifetime Achievement and Siouxsie Sioux was presented with the Ivors Inspiration Award.
