LISTEN: New album from Cornershop
Check out the duo's blissful eight album now.
Hot Press faves Cornershop are back with Urban Turban, “a walk through the hard-drive of Tjinder Singh’s head”, which positively screams “summer!”
Its cast of, well, dozens includes Swedish and French songstresses, a Lancashire primary school choir and loads more intriguing characters.
Half of the 12 tracks are drawn from the band’s Singhles Club – a punning Hot Press sub-editors job awaits if they want it – which finds Tjinder and musical partner in crime Ben Ayers indulging in wanton genre-bending.
Luxuriate in its wonderfulness and then order online from [link]store.cornershop.com[/link].
