Dawes set to make Irish debut at The Academy 2
The LA four-piece are over in July.
Californian folkies Dawes have just announced plans to bring their Laurel Canyon-indebted sound to Dublin this summer.
If the company they keep is anything to go on, they're of fine musical stock – Dawes have rubbed shoulders with Conor Oberst and Wilco's Pat Sansone, and performed with Jackson Browne at Occupy Wall Street before Christmas.
You'll catch them at The Academy 2 on Monday July 9. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, are priced at €10 and will be available from Ticketmaster outlets and [link]www.ticketmaster.ie[/link].
