Stand deliver new album, single & gig
Dublin rock band Stand return from the USA for the Irish launch of their new album 100,000 Ways To Harvest Hope on March 5.
As a trailer for the album they will release the Double A-side single ‘The Living Kind’ / ‘Full Circle’ on January 29, and play Dublin's Whelans on January 30.
The release of the new album follows a surge of songwriting last year, demoing in the prestigious Irish studio Grouse Lodge. In the New York studio of the Goo Goo Dolls, they recorded the album.
“There’s energy on it,” claims Stand’s David Walsh (the band’s guitarist and keyboardist), “and I’m not sure that we’ve ever captured that energy before on a recording.”
Stand have a rabidly-loyal following in Northeast America where their stature enables them to pre-sell almost 700 tickets for the Bowery Ballroom, New York’s premier venue.
