One For The Team to make Irish debut

American buzz band One For The Team have announced two Irish gigs. They play The Stables in Mullingar on July 16 and Dublins Whelans on July 17.

The band began life as the strictly-studio sideproject of Afternoon Records founder Ian Anderson until critical acclaim dictated that they take their material to the stage.

Support for The Stables gig comes from Icon On Fire while Heritage Centre will warm up the Whelan's crowd.

Tickets cost €13 and are available from WAV, Ticketmaster and usual outlets.
