LIFE FESTIVAL tickets go on sale

The three-day-long electronic dance party will hit Ballinglough Castle at the end of May.

A previous host to Van Morrison, Pet Shop Boys and Emmylou Harris, the scenic Ballinlough Castle in Westmeath will host the 2009 LIFE Festival on May 29, 30 and 31.

LIFE promises a meshing of "Nature, arts, music and awareness to uplift your spirits and start the summer dancing!" The festival will feature drama, mime, juggling and cinema in addition to the music and dancing for which it is famous.

The official lineup has not yet been announced, but past acts have included Max Romeo, Hallucinogen Live and Coldcut.

The first phase of tickets – which go on sale before the lineup is public – are €85 each, second-phase tickets will amount to €95 each and third-phase tickets will go for €105.
