A young pup by the name of Dave Fanning is among the recruits.
RTE’s well-nifty digital rock station, 2XM, has added four new programmes and six new voices to its schedule.
First up is Dave Fanning who presents an audio version of his The 11th Hour TV show every Friday at 7pm with a repeat on Monday at midday.
Debuting at 10pm on April 28 is D.I.Y. Records, a celebration of all things independent hosted by Rachel Jordan.
Finally, April 30 sees the double-whammy launch of Wired For Sound at 5pm (“the magazine show by music fans for music fans”) and at 11pm the Ciaran McCarthy-fronted The Suburban Dream (“A selection of chilled vibes crossing many genres from the world of electronica”).
