English singer-songwriter Steve Winwood is to play Dublin a decade after his last visit.

The former Hendrix, Clapton and Christina Aguilera collaborator, famous in his own right, will play Tripod on October 3. Winwood is celebrating his return to the charts on the back of recent album Nine Lives.

Tickets are €38.50 and €44.50, onsale this Thursday July 31.
