Venue change for Laura Marling as gig sells out
Laura Marling has to move downstairs in Whelan’s after tickets for her June 1 show sold out.
English singer Laura Marling has been forced to move from the more intimate, Upstairs at Whelan’s to the main venue downstairs due to the demand for tickets to her gig. The gig on June 1, falls in the middle of a hectic week in Ireland and an even more hectic summer of touring for Marling, with dates around Europe and as far off as Australia and the US.
Marling who has a folky style, released her anticipated debut album Alas I Cannot Swim in February. She has since been compared to the likes of PJ Harvey, Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell
