Tom McRae plans Irish tour
The Mercury Music Prize nominated Tom McRae ends his European tour with a five-date Irish tour.
The singer/songwriter is plugging his new and fourth album King Of Cards which sees him aiming to bring a smile to the listener's face.
"I wanted to lighten up a bit with this record… I’d been listening to a lot of hopeful, uplifting music and I thought I’d have at least one go at trying that myself," says the 38-year-old.
Having road-tested it with two sardine-packed fanclub shows in London's Cargo, we're sure he has the new material down to a tee.
Catch him at Limelight, Belfast (11 November), Whelan's, Dublin (13); Roisin Dubh, Galway (14); Dolan's, Limerick (15) and Savoy, Cork (16).
