The Chapters and Suddyn will now face off in front of the judges, with the winner walking away with €5,000 worth of Sennheiser live equipment.
Speaking to Hotpress.com from the RDS, where preparations are in full swing for this weekend's show, Music Ireland spokesman Mark Hogan said: "There's a fantastic buzz around here at the moment and we're really looking forward to Saturday and Sunday. Anyone who's in a band or involved with the music industry in any way would be mad to miss it - you'll have to opportunity to meet the likes of producers Brian Masterson and Stephen Street, singers Dolores O'Riordan and Brian Kennedy as well as a host of other record industry figures."
The exhibition will also showcase all the latest musical instruments and equipment from Ireland's top suppliers and retailers.
Music Ireland place tomorrow and Sunday in the RDS Main Hall. Access all areas tickets for each day are €10, with weekend passes priced at €15.
