Bonde Do Role announce Dublin date
Brazilian hellraisers Bonde Do Role have added a November date in Dublin's newly-revamped Temple Bar Music Centre, now called The Button Factory.
Hot Press’ second favourite Brazilian band – you can probably guess who’s number one – Bonde Do Role nip over on November 21 for a show in Dublin’s Button Factory.
Making a not dissimilar racket to the one the Beastie Boys made when they first exploded out of Brooklyn, the trio’s profile has been boosted no end by Nokia using ‘Solta O Frango’ to soundtrack their new ad campaign.
In case you’re wondering, it’s the Portuguese for “release the chickens.”
Tickets are a miserly €15.
Also bound for The Button Factory on October 26 is nu Detroit funk merchant Amp Fiddler.
