Vitalic to play Carlow
French electro sensation Vitalic is to touch down in Carlow this September.
The DJ (real name Pascal Arbez) is playing The Tower at Carlow's Dinn Rí on September 20th, as part of the Heineken Green Sphere.
His sound is an uplifting blend of electro, techno and house, but - like an expensive wine or a bag of jellies - there's much more mixed in there besides. His releases include 2001 EP Poney and the album OK Cowboy, a collection of his singles and EPs released in 2005.
Vitalic's concert is the latest in Heineken Green Spheres' series of music events, which kicked off in 2006. Since then, it has brought such acts as CSS, New Young Pony Club and Soulwax to Irish shores.
Tickets are available for free via email and SMS, but you have to register on www.heinekengreenspheres.ie to be in with a chance at getting one. If you register, you'll also receive alerts about upcoming Heineken Green Spheres gigs.
