Lambchop frontman Kurt Wagner will play solo in Dublin this November.
The alt-country pioneer is to touch down in Tripod on November 9th as part of a European solo tour. This will be the first time the singer performs without Lambchop, the band he formed in the early 1990s. The set is expected to draw on songs he has written over the past 20 years and is currently 'revisiting', but may also include old and new Lambchop songs, cover versions and instrumentals. Hailed as one of the most consistently brilliant bands of the last decade, Lambchop share the same gene pool as spawned the likes of Wilco and the Eels. They've have mined a rich seam of stately, melancholic melodies over the course of eight albums, including 2006's acclaimed Damaged.
Tickets are on sale now from all usual outlets, priced at €22.50.
