Dickie Rock plays Vicar Street
Forget The Spice Girls, The Verve or any of the other comeback kids that have been coming out of the woodwork recently; we're all about Dickie Rock.
Dickie Rock, an Irish showband legend in the true sense of the word, is going to play Vicar Street on October 2. And about time it is too.
It might be easy to forget exactly how big Dickie Rock was. There was a time between '63 and '83 when Dickie's single sales were only surpassed by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, David Bowie and Cliff Richard.
With a new album and an autobiography due out this October, the Vicar Street gig is likely to be the jewel in the singer's comeback crown.
