This Is Spinal Tap fanatics – and we suspect there's more that a few of you out there – will be thrilled with the news that the film is to get a free outdoor screening, as part of Jameson's Movies On The Square summer.
As in previous years, classic films, most of which which haven't had an Irish public airing for years, will be shown at Temple Bar's Meeting House Square, Dublin, as part of the Temple Bar Diversions Festival.
With Jameson on board for the first time, this year will see 'introducers' such as TV presenters Taragh Loughrey-Grant and Karen Koster, and actor/director Eoin Macken, on different nights, offer their personal insights into the films about to be screened. This summer's programme includes This Is Spinal Tap, Donnie Darko, The Godfather and Double Indemnity, among other gems.
There's plenty of time to perfect your popcorn-making skills, as Jameson's Movies On The Square will take place every Saturday from June 9 to August 25.
