Having become the first single to reach the UK number one on downloads alone, Gnarls Barkley's single 'Crazy' have made history again - and this time, it's a record that's stood for 12 years.
The single by the US act is the first to keep the top spot on UK Singles Chart for eight weeks since Wet Wet Wet's 'Love is All Around'. Marti and the boys were at number one for fifteen weeks in 1994. Neither The Beatles or Madonna have managed to stay at the top of the charts for as long.
'Crazy' has now sold 623,646 copies in the UK since its release, with sales this week of around 40,000, which is comfortably ahead of Infernal's 'From Paris to Berlin' at number two.
