Alicia Keys and Bono have teamed up to record a charity cover just in time for Christmas.
Their cover version of Peter Gabriel/Kate Bush song 'Don't Give Up', (renamed 'Don't Give Up (Africa)'), will be available for downloading from iTunes as of December 6.
All proceeds from the single wil be donated to the Keep a Child Alive charity that provides desperately needed medicine to families living with HIV/AIDS.
The first performance of the track was at a New York fundraiser for Keep a Child Alive on November 3 where Keys sang live on stage with Bono chirping along via satellite link-up.

On the collaboration, Keys was eager to say: "I love this song. And I love Bono. I really respect what he has done for Africa and how he has used his fame to do good in the world. I hope I can do half as much in my life."
A great track for a worthy cause.
