Bez pulls a no-show at Chips With Everything

There was disappointment for Bez fans on Friday December 12 when the former Happy Mondays and Black Grape maraca shaker failed to show for the Chips With Everything club night in Dublin's Hub.

According to the co-promoters CPU Records: "We've been advised at the last minute that Bez is currently in Geneva snowboarding and will not be travelling to Dublin as scheduled. CPU sincerely apologises to any of our punters who feel let down by this sudden turn of events. We ourselves have been totally let down."

The gig still went ahead with Bez's former Mondays bandmate, Rowetta, topping the bill with her hotly rated new outfit, Stazi.
