LISTEN: New covers album from Counting Crows
Adam Duritz is generously streaming the entire thing online.
Entitled Underwater Sunshine (Or What We Did On Our Summer Vacation), Counting Crows' sixth studio album is set to hit stores in exactly one week (April 10), but ahead of the release, Crows mainman Adam Duritz has decided to stream the record online.
Underwater Sunshine is composed entirely of cover versions, including both re-records of tracks the band have tackled before, as well as completely new takes on some of their favourites songs.
Featuring tunes written by the likes of Big Star, Gram Parsons and Fairport Convention, HP's Edwin McFee praised its "spirit of adventure" which "infuses the opus with a sense of fun and excitement."
