Dear President Higgins,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you have done for Ireland throughout your presidency. Your leadership has embodied dignity, compassion and wisdom, and you have represented our country with grace both at home and abroad. You’ve reminded me of the importance of culture and kindness, things that make Ireland what it is.
Over the years, your words have resonated deeply with people of all generations, and your commitment to equality, creativity and the arts has left a lasting legacy.
Thank you for your service, your humanity, and for leading with such warmth.
