Your shout
This Bud's for you: the 2003 Budweiser Premier Band Challenge could give your band just the kinda 2000-euro cash injection you've been thirsting for
There's €2,000 up for grabs in the 2003 Budweiser Premier Band Challenge which runs over the next five Wednesdays at the Downhill House Hotel in Ballina.
In addition to all that lovely lucre, the winners will get recording time at DwanSound Studios.
According to organiser David Dwan: "The inteterest has been phenomenal, with bands prepared to travel from as far as Waterford and Donegal to take part. For most it's the experience and exposure gained from taking part in a top competition like this which drives them to become involved in the first instance."
Meanwhile the 2002 winners, Aurel from Donegal, have just released their debut EP, Bob.
