Celebrate with them at Longitude tomorrow.
Gracing the Main Stage from 14.45 tomorrow afternoon at Longitude, Years & Years will be doing so as the week’s biggest-selling act in the country. The London electronica trio have just delivered their debut album, Communion, and it has shot straight to the summit of the Irish Albums Chart at the first time of asking.
It means last week’s number one, Taylor Swift, sees her 1989 drop to No. 3, with Ed Sheeran’s X sandwiched in between.
There is no change just below, as Nathan Carter and Hozier (who headlines Longitude tonight) round off the Top 5.
The next highest new entry finds the late Whitney Houston’s Ultimate Collection (a previous number one) return to the charts at No. 24, while Fleetwood Mac’s double dates in 3Arena last weekend has helped Rumours to no. 37.
