Denise Chaila to lead creativity retreat in Tenerife this summer
The retreat will take place from June 25 to 29.
Award-winning Irish-Zambian artist Denise Chaila is set to host a unique five-day creativity retreat in Tenerife this summer, in collaboration with Libra Retreats, from June 25 to 29.
The retreat is set to offer a rare opportunity for artists, writers, and creatives to explore identity, expression, and artistic freedom in a nurturing and immersive environment. It is open to individuals across all artistic disciplines—including music, poetry, visual arts, and literature.
Chaila, renowned for her powerful lyrical voice, brings her experience as both a performer and creative facilitator to the retreat, which she describes as “therapeutic, sensory, somatic, artistically permissive and creatively integrated.”
The retreat will include group activities such as dialogue, nature-based inspiration, free writing, and collaborative workshops, while Finca’s facilities include a swimming pool, hot tub, games room, and gardens.
Chaila is a critically acclaimed rapper, singer, and poet based in Limerick. Her debut mixtape, Go Bravely, won the 2020 RTÉ Choice Music Prize for Album of the Year.
The retreat is priced at €590 for a shared room or €890 for a private room, inclusive of full board accommodation, airport transfers, and all activities. Flights to Tenerife are not included. For more information, click here.
