Folk duo Ye Vagabonds have announced a limited edition 7-inch vinyl of 'I'm A Rover/The Bothy Lads', to be released on their label River Lea.

The band's album A Hare's Lament' was released in 2019 to much critical acclaim, with Hot Press calling it "a joy, the labour of two master craftsmen, who, far from finding some old folk songs and singing them, have paid due deference to tradition – and, in the process, made this music their very own."

Their debut record was also met with critical acclaim, which included awards from BBC Radio Two and RTE Radio One.

"We’re delighted to announce this limited run, 7-inch vinyl - I’m a Rover/The Bothy Lads will be released via @riverlearecords on the 29th of January," the band said in an Instagram post. "We recorded it in one of the last days of the Before Time, in @hellfirestudiosdublin with our friend, producer John Spud Murphy of @guerrillasounds.

"Cover photo by our fellow vagabond @alainmcfadden and design by @black_rogue_design.

"Pre-order it from @roughtraderecords from this Friday the 22nd."
