Willie Nelson's ranch destroyed by tornado
The ranch was a victim of a tornado wreaking havoc on Luck, Texas.
Extreme weather is a constant threat during the American summer, and yesterday Luck, Texas was the site of one of these cases, with a tornado striking the region. While no one was hurt, the town's bank and post office were badly damaged and the ranch of music legend Willie Nelson received similar treatment.
The ranch is legendary around the region of Austin, Texas. Built for the film Red Headed Stranger, based on the Nelson song by the same name, the ranch has often serving as a concert venue during the South by Southwest music festival. Nelson left a post regarding the incident on his Facebook page:
"Our beautiful Luck wasn't so Lucky recently. Last week's tornado force winds ripped several buildings apart, including the bank, the post office, and left World Headquarters holding on by a splinter. We are happy to report no one was hurt and the church only had a few windows blown out. Some towns got it a lot worse, so we aren't complaining. Luck is a tough town. It can be rebuilt."
