He is also planning to star in the movie which will be appropriately enough called 'Eurovision'.
Ferrell is in the middle of co-writing the script with his long-term collaborator Andrew Steele, a former head writer for Saturday Night Live.
The movie is Ferrell's first project with Netflix.
