Whelan's host charity music night

Declan O'Rourke, Ollie Cole (Turn), Fiach, Gavin Glass, Jacksie Og Maher and others will be performing in aid of Touch Ireland, a non-profit organisation which supports vulnerable children around the world. The charity is hoping to open a new children's wing in Kaoma hospital, Zambia, and the gig this Saturday 27 Aug is planned to help raise funds for the venture.
Tickets cost €15 and are available from The WAV ticket office on Camden Row, Dublin (tel: 1890 200 078). Doors open at 8pm.
