Wexford rapper Skripteh returns with new single 'Loyalty'

New Ross native Skripteh has made his much-anticipated return, having kept busy during the pandemic. Our 'Hot for 2020' act's brand new single, 'Loyalty,' is out today.

He may be young, but Skripteh isn’t new to the game. He made his first mark on the Irish hip hop scene at just 13 years old. He has continually built himself up with dedication and hard work.

The track features raw and powerful lyrics that are close to home for Skripteh. The rapper's Wexford vocals are coupled with mint hip-hop and afro swing instrumentals. 'Loyalty' is produced by JayBenJay, a young Irish producer who adds hard-hitting drums with a smooth bass line.

Skripteh has gathered a mass following since the release of his two EPs. 2019 proved to be a breakthrough year for the young artist, and his recent collaborations with Armor, AD North & Meridian Dan are forthcoming.
