Welcome To 2017!

It's a very Happy New Year from everyone at Hot Press! There was extra vigour to our cork-popping last night with the champers also marking the commencement of our 40th birthday celebrations.
We're not giving away too much yet, but there will be special editions, gigs, events and a plethora of other surprises over the next 12 months.
Whilst celebrating our past, we'll also be very much focused on the future with January's Hot For 2017 issue listing the new artists, authors, actors, films, TV shows, games and gizmos you simply can't be without.
It will be a campaigning year too, with Repeal The 8th, Ireland's homelessness crisis, drug reform and the island's post-Brexit future all to the fore.
There's also another birthday to celebrate with U2's landmark 1987 album, The Joshua Tree, turning 30 in March.
So, strap yourself in and enjoy the ride!
