WATCH: X-Files trailer for new series

A teaser for the brand new renewal of The X-Files have been unveiled.
Titled The Truth Is Out There, it sees David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return to their roles of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. The series last ran some 13 years ago, while the last time they assumed their famous roles was in the 2008 film I Want To Believe.
While the exact details of the reprise remain firmly under wraps, current talking points such as NSA surveillance and drones are expected to feature. The show will premiere in January, though some lucky fans won't have to wait long at all; the first two episodes will get a very special airing at New York Comic Con next month.
