Watch: Ty Segall's Short Film 'Emotional Mugger'

Seventies psychedelic revivalist Ty Segall has released a new short film.

The sci-fi/horror movie, entitled 'Emotional Mugger' - the same name as his latest album - features three little shorts in one. It starts off with a wary looking Ty strolling through the streets of Los Angeles in grey overalls. His jaunt is interrupted when he stumbles across a police officer draining blood from a mechanic's brain.

Next, the rocker is lead to a motel by a prostitute. A gaunt, infected Segall, limply stands by the door, as the lady of night hooks up weird tubes to her body. Blue ooze begins to pour from her pores, as smoke seeps through her skin. A zombified Ty simply walks out of the motel room, looking unsatisfied.

Lastly, the singer heads to a house party with people wearing cheap oculus rift's, sitting around a table. He eventually exits the house and starts to walk towards the sea front. As he reaches the beach, Ty's ogre mutation has been complete.
