Electric Picnic 2026 has sold out

Less than a week after 80,000 festival-goers descended on Stradbally Hall in Co. Laois for Electric Picnic 2025, tickets for the 2026 edition went on sale this morning – and have already sold out.

Tickets went live at 9am, through the festival's loyalty scheme and general sale.

"We’re blown away!" the official EP Instagram account posted this morning. "Just like that, Electric Picnic 2026 is COMPLETELY sold out! If you managed to secure a golden ticket, we’ll see you in Stradbally next year! We can’t wait to do it with you all again!"

This year's headliners included major names like Hozier, Chappell Roan, Kings of Leon, Sam Fender, Fatboy Slim and Becky Hill. Team Hot Press were also on-site to cover all the action – with our live reports available to read here.

Electric Picnic managing director Melvin Benn described this year’s festival as “the right size” and “a whole package” of music, art and community – while also hailing Kneecap’s landmark main stage performance as one of the standout moments of the weekend.

Speaking on Sunday, Benn confirmed that next year’s capacity will remain capped at 80,000, rejecting suggestions of expansion.

“Definitely not. I feel we’re at the right level at this point in time and I’d like to settle it at 80 before I start thinking about it,” he said.

He added that while the main stages will remain shut on Thursday, more entertainment options would be added for early arrivals in 2026.

Electric Picnic will return on from August 28 to 30, 2026.
