WATCH: Stephen Malkmus covers Taylor Swift
A good father doing 'Blank Space' for the kids.
If you've heard the likes of 'Cut Your Hair' and 'Gold Soundz', you'll know Stephen Malkmus has always had a hidden pop heart. You'd never have him pegged for a Taylor Swift fan, however.
Maybe he isn't – the former Pavement frontman's cover of 'Blank Space' by Taylor Swift was apparently played at the request of his daughter.
The performance with his band The Jicks took place in the Crystal Ballroom, Portland, as part of the WHO Family Rock charity show. A surprisingly faithful version it is too.
