Sounds Of System Breakdown have returned with their first new single in five years, 'Connect With Me' – accompanied by a lockdown-inspired, remotely-film music video.
Creatively exploring the challenges of connection during these strange times, Ross McClure's video was choreographed by David Ogle, with typographical animations from Marina Esmeraldo – and features a global cast of dancers and other contributors.
A live electronic music project led by London-based Dubliner Rob Costello, Sounds Of System Breakdown began as a response to unimaginative, laptop-centred electronica – incorporating live instruments and an irrepressible energy into dance music.
'Connect With Me' was recorded between a small industrial unit in London, a narrow boat in Co. Kildare, and a studio in Dublin.Take a look at the video below:
