Niall Horan concert-goers warned of traffic and transport restrictions in Dublin
Luas services will operate as normal for Horan's concert on November 10. However, on November 12 and 13, Red Line services will only operate as far as Connolly.
Niall Horan's four Dublin concerts, set for November 9, 10, 12 and 13, will go ahead as scheduled next week, but fans are being warned to expect significant traffic and transport restrictions on approach routes to 3Arena.
Doors will open at 6:30 pm each evening, with the concerts scheduled to begin at 7 pm.
The performances will take place despite the extensive security arrangements for two major European political meetings taking place in Dublin - the European Political Community summit on November 12, followed by an informal meeting of EU leaders on November 13.
Both EU meetings will take place at the Convention Centre in Dublin, close to 3Arena.
Although the concert venue is outside the security cordon, fans have been advised to allow additional travel time and plan their journeys carefully.
There will be no east-west traffic along North Wall Quay from November 10 to 13, although vehicles will still be able to access 3Arena via Seville Place, Sheriff Street Upper, East Wall Road and the Tom Clarke Bridge.
Luas services will operate as normal for Horan's concert on November 10. However, on November 12 and 13, Red Line services will only operate as far as Connolly, with no trams running to The Point stop at 3Arena before the concerts.
Fans traveling by Luas on those dates are being advised to walk from Connolly to the venue using the designated pedestrian route.
A very limited number of special Luas services will operate from The Point following each concert.
Pedestrian access along North Wall Quay will also be restricted on November 12 and 13, with concert-goers directed to use Amiens Street, Seville Place, Spencer Dock Bridge, Sheriff Street Upper and North Wall Avenue.
Bus services will also be affected, with diversions planned for routes serving Dublin's north quays and parts of the city centre.
An Garda Síochána and Transport for Ireland have said they are committed to minimising disruption for concert-goers.
Fans are being advised to check public transport updates before heading to the concerts and to allow plenty of additional time for their routes.
The show comes as part of his tour of the UK, Europe, Australia and North America, supporting his fourth studio album Dinner Party. The record reached No. 1 on the Irish charts, marking his fourth record in a row to do so. It is also his fastest-selling album to date.
"Dinner Party is a thank you to the past and a hello to the present, covering the big life events and the small, sometimes messy, in-between moments that actually make them up," said Horan.
"Much of the album explores that tug of war between falling in love while being terrified of losing them and how that risk is actually the best part. There's love, intimacy, fear, loss, hope, dreams - all wrapped together across it."
@NiallOfficial's shows at @3ArenaDublin from 9 -12 November will go ahead as scheduled with doors opening at 18:30pm and the show starting at 19:00pm.
Due to EU Presidency events taking place at the Convention Centre, there will be traffic and transport restrictions on approach routes to the 3Arena. Please allow plenty of additional travel time and plan your route carefully to get to and from the venue.
