Gilla Band announce 2027 Irish tour and add extra Vicar Street show
The post-punk and noise rock quartet released their fourth album, Pugnello, on September 26.
Gilla Band have announced an upcoming Irish tour in 2027, along with an additional show at Dublin's Vicar Street on Wednesday, April 21. The concerts will celebrate the release of their latest album Pugnello.
The group's earlier Vicar Street date on Saturday, February 21, 2027, sold out the same week their fourth record was released. Hot Press gave Pugnello a 10/10, calling it "brutal, visceral, redemptive and utterly unique." They will be joined by special guests SILVERWINGKILLER for the show.
Other Irish shows include Cork's The Savoy, Limerick venue Dolan's, Galway's Róisin Dubh, Empire in Belfast, and The Set Theatre in Kilkenny. Supporting acts for the tour are soon to be announced.
