Welles dropped his sixth studio album, Masks Off, in June 2026. The record features a selection of material created following his viral performances in the Arkansas wilderness, where he was raised and currently resides.
Welles gave an insight into Masks Off in a statement.
"These songs were highlights of the past year, and they sort of speak to the moment we're at."
"I'm not trying to tell folks how to think or get a reaction. All I do is write my lyrics, make my records, and cross my fingers."
The record features fan-favourite protest songs such as 'Join Ice', 'Red', and 'Domestic Error', as well as tracks that showcase the singer's more personal side including 'Siddhartha' and 'Won't You Come Out Tonight'.
Welles received four GRAMMY Award nominations in 2026. His music has garnered a total of 1 billion views and streams across all platforms. He has collaborated with artists such as Joan Baez, Billy Strings, Mt. Joy, and Sierra Ferrell.
Tickets for The National Stadium show go on sale on Friday, November 6, at 10am here.
