WATCH: Ra Gerra share 'Indecisive' video, directed by Motherland's P.O.B.
Murli and Kobina's new project together features an exciting new music video starring Kwaku Fortune.
Irish indie hip-hop and electronic duo Ra Gerra have dropped a cinematic new video for their single, 'Indecisive'.
Directed by P.O.B. (Peter O'Brien) from Motherland, the clip finds actor Kwaku Fortune driving around on a mysterious journey, picking up different passengers.
"I was delighted to come on board to create a music video for this exciting collaboration between Kobina and MuRli," P.O.B. says.
"The video explores themes that came out of our initial conversations on the track and album as a whole: vulnerability, self doubt, second guessing and, of course, indecisiveness. As always a huge thanks to Motherland and all the crew for making this one happen."
'Indecisive' marks the third single taken from Ra Gerra's upcoming third album, New Vessels, out Friday, July 16th.
Ra Gerra is a breakout collaboration between acclaimed Narolane rapper and musician MuRli plus Dublin-born producer Kobina.
"This is one of the most organic projects I’ve been a part of. It’s almost like a freestyle album," MuRli reflects. "We had no expectations going into it, other than writing a bit of music together, so there were no rules."
"I was just laying down whatever came naturally to me wherever I'd find myself writing. I was exploring new ways of writing and performing and this is the result," MuRli adds.
Kubina also confirmed the experimental nature of the album, commenting, "New Vessels is all about pushing one another to dig deeper within ourselves and to look for new ways of communicating with and navigating our relationships with ourselves and the world around us."
