Watch: Olivia Rodrigo covers Fontaines D.C.'s 'I Love You' at Dublin gig
"Lately I've been really obsessed with this band Fontaines D.C.," the singer told the crowd
Olivia Rodrigo performed a cover of Fontaines D.C.'s 'I Love You' at her sold-out Marlay Park show in Dublin on Tuesday night.
The Guts singer told the audience she was "obsessed" with the Irish band:
"The reason why I love Dublin so much is because you guys have really amazing music here. Like, there are so many incredible bands out of Dublin. And lately I've been really obsessed with this band Fontaines D.C. from here," she told to the crowd.
"I'm playing this song, like, alone in my room for fun, and I was wondering if it would be cool if I, like, played it for you guys," she added before her rendition of the track.
'I Love You' was featured on Fontaines D.C.'s 2022 record Skinty Fia, which landed at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart upon release.
