Tori Amos has performed her new single, 'Stronger Together', for the first time, alongside a cover of Bob Dylan's single, 'The Times They Are a-Changin', at Radio 2's piano room.
The new single, released yesterday, is the lead single off of her upcoming album, In Times of Dragons, set for release this spring.
"In Times of Dragons is a metaphorical story about the fight for democracy over tyranny," said Amos. She characterises the record as a response to what she views as the erosion of democratic values, saying it reflects "the current abhorrent non-accidental burning down of democracy in real time."
In fitting fashion, Amos also covered Bob Dylan's 'Times Are A-Changin', an iconic protest anthem signalling the inevitable, rapid shift in 1960s American culture, urging older generations to accept social change or be left behind.
Amos is set to head on tour this year following the album's release, with dates scheduled for Dublin and Belfast.
The musician will play Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on April 18, 2026, and Dublin’s Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on April 19, 2026.
The 2026 tour will be Amos’ most extensive in over a decade. She will be joined by long-time collaborators Jon Evans (musical director and bassist) and Ash Soan (drums), as well as backing vocalists Liv Gibson, Deni Hlavinka, and Hadley Kennary.
