WATCH: New Delorentos video
Plus details of their new EP and upcoming dates...
A few months ago, Delorentos exclusively revealed to Hot Press that the title of their forthcoming third album would be Little Sparks. Well it appears the foursome liked the title so much that they decided to go ahead and use it for their brand new four-track EP that precedes that aforementioned record.
Produced by Rob Kirwan (Editors, PJ Harvey, U2), the Little Sparks EP will be packaged with a full colour 40-page magazine edited by the band themselves and featuring the wisdom and art of a broad array of Irish artists, musicians, film makers and photographers. The first cut; 'Did We Ever Really Try?' finds the Dublin natives in confident form, delivering a highly infectious pop stomp which you can check out below.
If that wasn't enough to whet appetites ahead of the full album release in January, Delorentos have also announced a few upcoming gigs. You can hear the new material live and loud when the band play John Daly's of Mullingar on Wednesday November 23, the Triskell Arts Centre, Cork on Thursday 24 and Dublin's Unitarian Church on Friday 25.
