Watch: Lady Gaga releases new action-packed video for "John Wayne"

Following her epic performance at the Super Bowl, Lady Gaga released the music video for her new track "John Wayne." The video starts with Gaga in front of a white background wearing the now-classic Joanne hat (which has been immortalised with its own emoji), before abandoning the basic white backdrop for a music video that packs more than a few themes in the mix. The video goes from classic western to biker gang to 80s style Bonnie and Clyde, all with a Thriller tribute to make Michael Jackson proud, as Gaga and her gang tear through Halloween suburbia.
The video was directed by longtime Gaga collaborator, Jonas Akerlund, who worked on other classic videos such as “Paparazzi” and “Telephone.” The video has over 1,900,000 views online since it was posted yesterday. Watch below, if you haven't already.
