WATCH: Jack White covers Kanye at Royal Hospital Kilmainham

For those who attended last Thursday's Jack White concert, one of the highlights came early with White's memorable kick off. White came out guns blazing, opening with an unlikely cover of Kanye West's 'Black Skinhead'.

White performed the instrumental of the song in its entirety, breathing new life into the track with his masterful guitar work. The cover shouldn't have been too much surprise, as during the run up to the release of Lazaretto White has sung the Chicago rapper's praises, seeking a collaboration and describing the Yeezus tour as "the greatest show I've seen in my life".
